Today, at HPC on Wall Street, they will get a taste of the CALIENT hybrid packet-optical circuit switched network for data centers, which delivers the fastest performance available for persistent data flows.
I will be in the CALIENT booth (Roosevelt Hotel, NYC, Booth #312) throughout the show giving demonstrations and answering questions about the benefits of the hybrid packet-optical circuit switched network. If you are not going, but want some more information, here’s a blog post that I wrote that gives a good overview.
Also at the show, we’ll be showing people the S320 OpenFlow API that we announced today. OpenFlow is a leading software-defined networking (SDN) controller, and our API allows SDN data centers to integrate the S320 switch into these networks. We’ve had it interoperability tested as well, which demonstrated baseline compatibility with switches from pioneering and large vendors alike.
I hope to see you in the Big Apple!
